Scamps

Have you ever seen a character as trustworthy as this dog? I bet you haven't. But here she is, minding her own business, limbs hidden politely. We should all try to be a little bit more like her.

Today I present you with them. The scamps of the hour. This salmon pink colour has always been one of my favourites to draw with, for some reason. It's the perfect colour for a heart, and it's a bit earthy, which I like. I enjoy muted tones a lot, but this one is muted without losing its brightness, its sweetness. A passionate colour, but the sort of passion that's neatly contained.

I predict that I will have a beautiful summer, filled with fresh bread and new, hideous books to read. Each book more repulsive than the last. A sick and evil pleasure. I hope yours is good too, and that you don't sweat yourself to death, as is always a danger.
